Unstoppable! - Momentum Dance

Momentum Dance presents an ambitious triple bill of choreography for life-long dancers.

Featuring commissioned works by Israeli choreographer, Jin Plotkin and Australian choreographers Daryl Brandwood and Phillippa Clarke.  Poetic and visually stirring, the choreography explores the sensations of hanging over the edge, crashing waves, muscle memories and the tender relationship between parent and child.

Momentum Dance is unstoppable. It provides opportunities for dance practitioners to continue to grow, no matter how old. The heart of Momentum Dance challenges stereotypes about what it means to be an older dancer.

We acknowledge the generous support of Claudia Alessi and The Chapel Space’s Artists-in-Residence program, Ausdance WA, WAAPA Dance and Prendiville Catholic College.

Tickets Pricing;

Adults = $25
Concessions = $20
Under 18s = $15

ATAR Excel: Revision Seminars

A Successful Program

This seminar includes content designed to make students feel more confident in tackling assignments and better prepared for their exams.

Relevant information and content can be found on ATAR Excel's Brochure, outlining all of their seminars and topics throughout their week @ The Hub.

Enrolling in their seminars is an easily accessible process through their website.

Study Skills:

This program contains 5 hours of teaching broken up into one hour a day for five days. It focuses on units such as exam techniques, stress management, goal setting and time management essential to successful ATAR studies.

Essay Writing:

The essay writing program re-teaches students the structure of a critical essay and reinforces the importance of constructing a sound thesis and topic sentences, and revises how to include evidence to justify these claims.

Subject Revision:

The classes focus on a specific topic revision followed by a discussion on how this material is assessed in exam style questions. There is a sufficient time within the ten hours for teachers to model how to answer exam questions successfully as well as time for students to independently practice constructing their own answers. All our senior school teachers have significant marking experience and know what needs to be addressed to ensure student success in a ATAR pathway.
